New York Impressions

Greetings from New York! What a beautiful city!

Yesterday was the installation day at Photoville. It was extremely hot, but we made it! I'll post some photos of the process in another entry. 

The best of being in New York is all the different types of photography you can do: street photography, cityscape photography, portraits. It's incredible. I had a blast exploring the big apple with my Canon 5D Mark III. It was a bit too heavy for so many hours, but still it was worth the weight! 

Things that I visited: Dumbo and all its art galleries (and Starbucks!), the High Line in the West Village (with a stop to visit Obey's latest solo show), Rockefeller Center, Williamsburg. I walked the Brooklyn Bridge, visited MOMA (Museum of Modern Art of New York), The Museum of Natural History (5 hours inside! I had so much fun!), Central Park, the 9/11 Memorial Museum at the World Trade Center, Little Italy and many other places!
